Mike Share

mshare@ontariounitedfc.com

Share, a midfielder, grew up in Bergen Op Zoom, Netherlands and was a English professional football player in Europe but is now considered to be one of the best young and upcoming coaches in the world.

Mike began his career as a trainee with storied club AS Monaco FC in France. His time in France has left its mark to this day on Share´s coaching philosophy. After learning his trade in France Share moved to England and Spain to play for several clubs.

Share´s first taste of soccer in North America was with San Francisco Seals but decided his skills would be better served as a coach, and dedicated himself to the trade, working with several academies in Europe.

In the summer of 2008, Mike Share would start working as an consultant for American club Buffalo City Football Club based in New York.

Share would agreed a three year deal to become the new Buffalo City FC head coach in Buffalo, NY. Share ended the 2009 American Season leading his team to second place in the National Keystone Conference and Buffalo to 10 victories out of 12, giving Share a impressive 83.33% win percentage. After 9 months in charge of the New York based club, Share would resign as Buffalo City FC's head coach returning to Spain to take over as the new Atlético Andalucía CF head coach.

In 18 months at Atlético Andalucía CF Share would have two spells as head coach. His first spell saw Share lead the team to a 8-2-8 record giving Share 44.44% win percentage. His second spell in charge would see Share lead the team to an impressive 3-1-1 record. With the only blemish coming in the dying minutes of the game against champions Union Estepona CF and giving Share an impressive 60% win percentage.

In his time at the club Share would make three appearances with the highlight being his debut against Benahavis. With 15 minutes left of play and the game tied Share came of the bench to set up Atlético's second goal to make the score 2-1 and with 5 minutes left of play Share capped an impressive debut when running with the ball half the length of the pitch and finishing of the move with a stunning chip from just inside the right side of the box to score the goal of the game and making the final score 3-1 to Atlético Andalucia CF. As well as scoring on his debut Share recorded 3 assists in as many games.

Mike Share proudly joins Ontario United FC as head coach and will be in charge of 1st team duties, youth development and to establish European partnerships.
